Join us for another hilarious night of laughter and fun at Berlage Comedy: March Madness! After a series of successful shows, including 'Kick off', 'Round Two', 'Year End Celebration', 'January Joke Fest', and 'Valentine Comedy', we are back with an exciting lineup of talented comedians ready to tickle your funny bone.

 

Returning favorites and new faces will grace the stage at our popular venue, promising an evening filled with humor and entertainment. Whether you're a comedy aficionado or just looking for a good time, this event is not to be missed.

Headliner: Odette van der Molen

 

Winner of the Comedy Talent Award 2019, Odette van der Molen is made for the spotlights! With her self-deprecating, sharp humour and spot-on characterisations, she challenges and ridicules modern life and her generation gap, with her relatable topics. 

With her delightful Dutch accent, Odette is likely to kill the Queen’s English on the spot, but you won’t mind, as she’ll make up for it! 

Odette joined the English-speaking comedy scene in recent years and already is making a name for herself, leaving expats and tourists in stitches. She plays frequently in the comedyshows at Boomchicago and Comedycafé Amsterdam.

She can be sharp, honest, and direct, not sparing herself one single bit, and not entirely free of any self-embarrassment. Odette effortlessly connects with her audience in both a charming and playful way!

 

 

Ben McMurray

 
Ben McMurray is an Amsterdam-based, American-raised up and coming stand-up comedian with a dark but approachable sense of humor.

I’ve been living in Amsterdam so long I thought I was Dutch but then I looked at my pass-port and it turns out I’m British. Sorry.

 

Carlos Montoya

"Carlos likes to be the latino quota of any lineup. Despite looking very arab, he comes from Venezuela (If you're American and you're reading this, that is a country by the way). Exploring the perks of being a (brown) immigrant in the Netherlands, he has performed in Comedy Clubs in Europe, Asia (!) & North America, and opening for big names in the Latino Comedy Scene. In his own words "Please help me, I want to quit my job"

 

Luuk van der vaart

Luuk is a comedian and city tour guide working on a comedy lecture for internationals in which he uses history to explain the society we live in today. Preciously he has won prices from two Dutch Student Cabaretfestivals but now he’s working on a new mix of info and comedy.
