IN Amsterdam is the office for international newcomers of the municipalities of Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere, Diemen, Haarlem, Hilversum, Haarlemmermeer and Velsen.
IN Amsterdam organizes regular seminars and hosts events alongside its partners to help internationals discover everything they need to know about living and working in the Amsterdam Area.

- Learn Your First Dutch Words
During this fun, informal class, participants will learn basic Dutch pronunciation, as well as words and phrases essential for everyday life in the Netherlands.
The class is free of charge and there's even a chance to win a Dutch course. Spaces are limited, so we ask that participants sign up in advance.

Our expert partners have the answers to your questions. !WOON offers advice on tenant rights and provides comprehensive information regarding renting a property including housing contracts.
Utility Direct will inform about the utilities needed to arrange when moving into a rental, including a comparison of different providers and some handy dos and don'ts. Relocation specialists Expat Help will discuss the Dutch property market and advise on searching for a rental home.
