Kick off 2026 with a bang at the Berlage Comedy Club! 🚀 We’re shaking off the winter chill with January Jive & Jokes—an evening of top-tier English stand-up comedy featuring a fresh lineup of hilarious talent ready to start your year with a laugh.

 

After a massive 2025 featuring our April Frenzy, Summer Spectacular, and Holly Jolly Hilarity, we are back to prove that January is the best time for a comedy comeback!

Greg Shapiro

Comedian. American. Dutchman.

Greg Shapiro is best-known as the voice of the 'Netherlands Second' video.

He has hosted 'Comedy Central News' on ComedyCentralNL, and he has appeared on BNN-VARA, VPRO & ZDF. Meanwhile, he has written and performed 6 solo shows including Leaving Trumpland and How to Be Orange.

As author, Greg has written books such as How to Be Dutch: the Quiz and his latest The American Netherlander: 25 Years of Expat Tales.

 

Fedor Ikelaar

Join Fedor on his laughter-filled, insane journey across the globe. With a combination of sharp wit and other foolishness, he shares his experience from living, working, and failing abroad.

Fedor Ikelaar is a born and raised Dutchie, who always felt a bit out of place in the Netherlands. After years of moving from one country to another he finally ended up in Nepal...where he felt even more out of place. Surrounded by spiritual Nepalese, occasional opium dealers, forgotten hippies and millennials trying to find themselves, he lost himself more and more but remained captivated by the madness of it all. 

 

Igor Oliveira

Igor likes that no matter how complicated a topic can be there is always comedy in it. He will explore the dark and the silly topics, maybe even at the same time. He is original from Brazil, based in Utrecht.

 

Zazilie Currie

Zäzilie is a British/Dutch comedian from Amsterdam. She’s a proud mother of two feline siblings. It doesn’t look like she will stop living alone in singledom with her two furbaby’s anytime soon which officially makes her a cat lady. When she’s not doing standup, she dances in bikinis while wearing stripper heels either on the floor in an aerial hoop or in her grandmas living room.

 

Alexander Nasse

36-year-old Alexander is an Amsterdam based comedian trying very hard not to make sense of the world.

 

Vitaliy Krasovskyy 

Vitaliy Krasovskyy is a 24- year-old Ukrainian comedic menace, known for his unapologetically dark humor. Since storming onto the scene in 2023, he's been making waves across the country leaving his mark on every comedy venue he touches. With a style that blends brutal honesty and razor- sharp wit, he's quickly becoming a standout voice in the comedy scene.
