After a series of side-splitting shows including the January Jokes Fest, Valentine Comedy, March Madness, April Fools' Frenzy, and May Mirth Marathon, we're gearing up for a sensational summer finale that promises to be the highlight of the season!

Comedians

 

Nira Tal

Nira is a comedian originally from Israel. She’s in her 40s married to a Dutchman and mothering a teenage daughter. As part of her midlife crisis, she turned to comedy and discovered that mediocrity is also an art form. ‘Nira’s way of viewing the world is simultaneously relatable and hilariously baffling.’ - Steven Morgan

 

Swar Joshi 

Swar is a Utrecht-based comedian who could've been Amsterdam-based if he could afford it. Swar exaggerates life's minor irritations and trivializes existential crises. His comedy can be defined as "sad comedy for sad people - performed by a happy, hyperactive human”. If you think you've done something stupid, Swar has probably already topped that.

Andrea Maria van der Meel.

Hailing from Nieuw Zeeland and armed with a Dutch last name, Andréa embodies a delightful contradiction: The least looking and sounding Dutch person you’ll ever encounter.

Embracing her self-proclaimed status as "aggressively single”, Andréa recounts her relatable dating tales as the deaf girl next door, all in pursuit of finding a Lord with a ring. 

Andréa's popularity soared following a viral moment on Instagram where she shared her comical journey of learning Dutch using Duolingo. 

Her engaging storytelling, observations and jack-in-the-box style have captivated audiences, establishing her as a rising star in the Dutch comedy scene.

 

Lara Mickoki

Lara has the charm of wind from a toddler’s behind, and a burp from its front. Living in Amsterdam, but hailing from Australia with Austrian parents, she is a bonafide human mongrel that has spelling and identity issues. It’s ok, she doesn’t bite, she only nibbles at your funny bone. Shell tackle mental health and anything to do with the butt - she’s a derrière connoisseur. That was hard to spell. See you on the dance floor! 

Carlos Montoya

"Carlos likes to be the latino quota of any lineup. Despite looking very arab, he comes from Venezuela (If you're American and you're reading this, that is a country by the way). Exploring the perks of being a (brown) immigrant in the Netherlands, he has performed in Comedy Clubs in Europe, Asia (!) & North America, and opening for big names in the Latino Comedy Scene. In his own words "Please help me, I want to quit my job"."

 

Shaz

Shaz is a new face in Amsterdam’s comedy scene. Born in Pakistan and now proudly ‘Dutch,’ Shaz has been navigating the not-so-delightful expat life in the Netherlands for the past seven years.

With an infectious passion for being on stage, Shaz brings an enthusiastic and weirdly energetic vibe to every performance. Whether he’s poking fun at cultural quirks or sharing his hilarious take on life as an expat.
